Three local women will serve on ‘Strong Women’ panel

Three local female leaders in the business community will be featured speakers during a “Strong Women, Strong Coffee” event on Tuesday, May 7.
The panel will feature three very busy women who have agreed to participate in the event hosted by the Women Business Center of Kentucky and sponsored locally by Wellcare. It will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the lower level of the Chamber of Commerce building, located at 201 Burkesville St.
Tina Thomas is the owner of Old Columbia, a new business on the public square. With the slogan, “Blending the Past with the Future,” Old Columbia focuses on providing Kentucky-sourced products. Thomas is also the sales manager for the family-owned business, Hilltop Auto Mart, and she and her husband, David just recently purchased the historic Russell Building on the square.
Andrea Feese is owner of AF Photography and is director of marketing and digital products at Bank of Columbia. Feese’s talents are well known across Adair County and beyond as she has had a creative hand in everything from wedding photos to developing keepsake prints for special occasions. She is often seen at local sports events capturing sports history for schools and parents alike with her excellent photography skills.
Amy Walker is principal broker at Walker Realty. Walker has served as the principal broker of Walker Realty for the past four years and is dedicated to helping others find their dream home. Richard Lee Walker, Amy’s father-in-law, created Walker Realty over 50 years ago and was a passionate community member and leader. Amy strives to honor his legacy by pouring that same passion into Columbia today. Over 50 years of tradition, serving a new generation!
