Adair County volleyball competed in the first round of the district tournament Tuesday against Campbellsville and added another win to their record. With this victory, the Lady Indians advance to the district finals set for tonight at 6 p.m. at Campbellsville.
“I feel like we are in a really good spot. We have been working on some things all season and they are finally coming together,” said Head Coach Michelle Neat. “We just feel like the girls are poised to make a really good run here at the end of the season. We have prepared well. We feel like we are ready.”

Senior Night
Last Thursday, Adair County volleyball celebrated senior night with their final regular season match at home against Metcalfe County. All three teams earned clean sweeps, capping the regular season with a strong 28-6 overall record.
“This group of seniors has been a special group. They’ve seen Adair County volleyball through the highs and the lows and they’ve really been pivotal in changing the culture of our program to now when we walk into a gym people know who Adair County Volleyball is,” Neat said. “We expect to win games when we walk in. They have been instrumental in helping us change that culture and beyond volleyball, all four of them are just amazing young women and they are going to be irreplaceable as a teammate as much as they are on the court because they are just great people. So we appreciate them and all they have done.”
