The City of Columbia is considering the purchase of a portion of the Little League Park currently owned by the Chamber of Commerce.
Mayor Pam Hoots told council members at Monday’s meeting that the Chamber of Commerce has indicated members would be open to selling the portion of property that the organization owns so that the city can apply for grants for improvements to the park.
