The “Running of the Ducks” is scheduled to return for the weekend of the Kentucky Derby in Columbia on Saturday, May 2.
Ducks can be purchased for $5 each. All proceeds will go to improve the Paddle Trail for Columbia’s Trail Town.
There will be prizes offered to the individuals whose ducks place in the race. Names of those who purchase ducks will be drawn for prizes donated for the event. The Columbia DeMolay Chapter will be assisting with the event.
To donate a prize or for information, contact Sydney Strange at City Hall at 270-384-2501.
