Karen Diane Bishop, 67, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the University of Louisville Hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born in Louisville, KY on October 28, 1956, to the late Fred Lawrence Lee, Sr. and Doris Jean Milburn Montgomery of Columbia, KY who survives.
Ms. Bishop enjoyed doing yard work, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two children April Schoenbaechler of Campbellsville, KY, and Jeremiah Stephen Bishop (Leshana Brooks) of Lexington, KY; three grandchildren Madison and Lileigh Schoenbaechler and Bailey Dixon; four siblings Fred Lee (Brenda) of Columbia, KY, Larry Lee of Carrollton, KY, Teresa Jackson of Louisville, KY and Pam Lee of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday, April 26, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with cremation to follow the services. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday at the funeral home. Bro. Paul Patton will be officiating the services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
