Motorists traveling through Adair County should be aware of a brief rolling roadblock scheduled for Sunday, March 15 on the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway.
DUO Broadband will conduct a rolling roadblock beginning at 7 a.m. to remove existing copper facilities that have recently been replaced by fiber broadband infrastructure. The work will take place in both lanes of the parkway at mile markers 38.38 and 41.44 between Columbia and Edmonton.
The rolling roadblock is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. During this time, drivers may experience short delays while crews safely complete the work. Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area, follow directions from traffic control personnel, and plan accordingly to avoid potential delays.
This project is part of ongoing efforts by DUO Broadband to modernize telecommunications infrastructure and improve service reliability in the region.
