Shot – Stabbed – Hanged – and More on the Columbia Public Square
Shot, Stabbed, Hanged and More will be held on Friday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. Everyone should meet at the Adair County Annex Building, 424 Public Square. The tour will be led by Mike Watson and Dave Thomas.This is a unique walking that will highlight a few of the many incidents that have occurred on and off the Town Square, illustrating its rich history. Just as the title states, there will be incidents of our varied past illustrated, some in graphic detail.
This is an educational, historical walk back into the wild years of early Columbia, the Civil War, and more. It is not intended for small children. Parental discretion is advised. The event is free to the public and everyone is invited.
