The Columbia Police Department arrested three individuals for driving under the influence in three separate incidents late Friday night and early Saturday morning. According to public documents and loal sources, all three arrests were a result of complaints made to the Adair County 911 Center and all three drivers admitted to drinking at a local establishment.

The citation lists his blood alcohol level at .249, and he was charged with driving under the influence (aggravated circumstances), reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
The passenger was not located at the scene. However, an officer did speak to him on the phone. The passenger allegedly said that he was home safe and had gotten out of the vehicle due to the driver being intoxicated.
