Barry Keith Spear, 74, of Columbia, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born on December 30, 1950 to the late Harold and Madelyn Spear. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jessie Spear.
Mr. Spear was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his companion, Patricia Huddleston of Columbia; six step grandchildren; and special friends Randall and Doris Durham of Mt. Vernon, Ky.
Mr. Spear chose cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
