The Adair County Extension Office will host “Disasters Don’t Stand a Chance,” an emergency preparedness program for individuals and families, on Thursday, June 18, at 11 a.m.
This interactive program uses a fun board game format where participants race across “Calamity County,” facing unexpected disasters, detours, and challenges along the way.
As they move through the game, participants will collect essential supplies for an emergency kit and learn practical ways to help their families prepare for disasters.
The program will be held at the Adair County Extension Office.
Participants are asked to RSVP by calling 270-384-2317 by June 16. Lunch will be provided at no cost.
