The body of a missing Green County man was found in Columbia Thursday evening.
At around 5 p.m. Thursday, a landowner discovered a body on property located between Bomar Heights and the Adair Veterans Memorial Highway. The male was identified as William “Levi” Bell, 31, who was last seen in mid-September. Trail camera footage and a security camera at a nearby business recorded Bell in the area on Sept. 20.
Coroner-elect Robin Lewis confirmed the discovery to the Community Voice. Lewis said Bell’s remains have been sent to the medical examiner’s office for cause of death to be determined, but no foul play is suspected.
