Carolyn Sue Rayburn Smith, 82, of Columbia, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born on July 30, 1943, in Green County to the late Robert Lee and Dorothy Mae Kemp Rayburn.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Hutchison Community Church and enjoyed reading, quilting, painting and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall Smith of Columbia; three children, Lisa Burton (Ricky) of Indiana, Mark Bradshaw (Rachel) of Columbia, and Shanna Tucker (Stacey) of Indiana; three grandchildren, Michael Bradshaw (Roslin) of Columbia, Matthew Tucker (Amber) of Indiana, and LaShana Fisette (David) of Indiana; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Boston, Selah, Josi, Beau, and Luke, and several friends and relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lee “Jimmy” Bradshaw; her second husband, Delwin “Dale” Smith; a daughter, Donna Lynn Bradshaw; and a brother, Bobby Rayburn.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Bennett Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 p.m. through 8 p.m. and will continue Saturday morning until time for the service.
Bro. Larry Brown will officiate. Pallbearers will be Matthew Tucker, Michael Bradshaw, David Fisette, Ricky Burton, Stacey Tucker, and Landon Rayburn.
