The Adair County Sheriff's Department is investigating a two vehicle injury collision that occurred Monday on KY HWY 1952 in Adair County.
Bruce Thompson, 41, of Columbia was operating a 2003 Yamaha motorcycle on the wrong side of the roadway striking a Chevy Tahoe head on. The Chevy was operated by Dustin Alley, 36, of Columbia.
Thompson was flown to a Lexington hospital by Air-Evac for treatment of his injuries.
Alley nor his two juvenile passengers were injured.
Traffic and criminal charges against Thompson are pending according to Sheriff Gary Roy.
