City Schedules Public Hearing to Discuss Data Centers

Council is considering a two-year moratorum

Posted

The Columbia Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 2 at 5 p.m. at city hall to discuss data centers.

The meeting comes after a  plan to consider a two-year moratorium on data centers within the city limits was put on hold following a legal glitch. Originally the commission had approved a two-year moratorum but then realized their rules for holding special called meetings are different than city council regulations.
