Jerry Tincher, 66, of Columbia passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. He was born October 11, 1958 in Hamilton, Ohio, a son of Alene Powell Tincher and the late Thurman Tincher.
Jerry was a proud veteran, having formerly served as a Staff Seargeant in the United States Marine Corp. He also worked as a Lieutenant with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Jerry enjoyed traveling, planting and raising a large garden, and smoking meats for family meals. He also took great pride in tending his farm. Jerry loved his family and spending time with them was always important. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and attended Purdy Separate Baptist Church.
