The Adair County Public Library, 307 Greensburg St., will host a pumpkin decorating contest with entries accepted Monday, Oct 5 through Friday, Oct 9 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
Voting will take place Saturday, Oct. 10 through Tuesday, Oct. 13 during library hours.
The winner will be posted on Adair County Library's Facebook page on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
The pumkins may be real or fake. One entry per family.
Categories for the contest are:
Overall Best (popular vote), Cutest, Best book character, most creative and funniest. Winner of the popular vote will receive a trophy and family fun gift basket. Winners of the other four categories will receive a trophy and bragging rights.
Everyone is invited to participate.
