Adair County couldn’t hold onto a double-digit halftime lead Friday night, falling 60–57 to Campbellsville in a back-and-forth matchup.
The Indians led by 10 at halftime but Campbellsville surged in the second half, outscoring Adair County and edging ahead in the final minutes.
Tylin George delivered a standout performance, pouring in 31 points while shooting 50 percent from the field. Samuel Feese and Truk Jennings added six points each. John Shehan, the team’s second-leading scorer in the previous game, struggled to find his rhythm and finished 0-for-12 from the floor.
The loss drops Adair County to 2–1 on the season. The Indians return to action Friday at Marion County.
