The Indians bounced back Monday with a 9-4 win over Green County.
Jasper Kemp led the way on the mound with 12 strikeouts. Adair County took an early lead, scoring two runs in the first inning following a Green County error.
Bryce Russell added to the momentum with a solo home run in the third inning. By the fifth, the Indians held a 5-0 advantage.

“For us to continue to be successful, each player has to understand who they are and what their role is for each game,” Head Coach Ryan McQueary said. “We have to play clean baseball with very few mistakes. Being able to do that on a consistent basis has been our Achilles’ heel so far.”
