The Adair County Indians redeemed themselves Friday during their second matchup against Campbellsville. The Indians lost to the Eagles in December by three points. On Friday, Adair County claimed the win over Campbellsville, 75-72 putting them at 15-5 for the season.
Tylin George led the team with 26 points, followed by Dawson Gilbert with 16 and John Shehan adding 12. Gilbert and Samuel Feese each hit three behind the arc. Landon Blakey dominated the boards with 12 rebounds and Shehan logged eight.
The Indians are 3-1 in district play with two more district games in the season. This Friday, they play Marion County at home. They will then travel to Taylor County on Friday, Feb. 6.
The Indians have defeated the Cardinals twice this season by slim margins. This matchup between the two teams will decide which team claims the number one seed in the district tournament.
