Indians open season with back-to-back wins

The Adair County Indians opened their basketball season Monday night against Elizabethtown.
The starting lineup for the varsity squad consisted of Trinton Breeze, Jaden Wooten, Samuel Feese, John Shehan, and Tylin George. Last season starter, Dawson Gilbert, is currently injured.
The Indians had a good performance from George with 26 points and 5 rebounds. His total field goal percentage was 58.8.
Shehan was the second leading scorer with 16 points for a percentage of 77.8. He also contributed the only three-point goals, six rebounds and four assists.
The Indians claimed their first win of the season 72-58.
The Indians took the court again on Tuesday against Cumberland County at the Burr. Adair led 38-36 at the half and claimed the win 71-66.
George scored his 1,000-career point in the beginning of the third quarter and led the Indians in scoring for the night.
The Adair County Indians will be on the court Friday night at Campbellsville in another double header.
