Lora Lee Loy, 72, of Columbia, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at her residence. She was born on March 31, 1954, in Argo, Illinois to the late Lawrence and Mary Ellen Cochran Taylor.
Mrs. Loy attended the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene. She loved bottle feeding her goats, her pig, Wilburn, her dog, Mike, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Taylor, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, George Loy; five children, Jamie Beth Cooper, George Loy Jr., Charles Loy, James Allen Loy, and Mary Beth Loy; and a brother-in-law, Ted Loy (Valerie).
The family chose cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
