The Adair County Lady Indians fell to Campbellsville 68-56 on Friday night. Ultimately, turnovers were the deciding factor in the game as Adair had 26 and Campbellsville with 12.
Campbellsville held a slim 21-19 advantage at the end of the first quarter after several lead changes. The Eagles began to separate themselves in the second quarter, outscoring Adair County to take a 38-28 lead going into halftime.
Campbellsville continued to build momentum after the break, extending its lead to 54-43 by the end of the third quarter. The Eagles’ largest lead of the night was 15 points, while Adair County led by as many as six in the opening half.
The Lady Indians finished with 25 rebounds, with Callie White and Allie Campbell leading the team with four boards each.
Kinsley Akin paced Adair County with 16 points. Reese Bardin and Allie Campbell each added 10 points.
With the defeat, the Lady Indians move to 10-8 on the season.
