The Adair County Lady Indians volleyball team continued its strong season Saturday, hosting the fourth annual Adair County Classic and battling through four matches to finish the day undefeated.
Head coach Michelle Neat said the Lady Indians faced seven high-quality teams during the event and pushed through adversity to finish with a 4-0 record.
“We had to battle in most of games, playing three very close sets. However, despite injuries, mistakes, and tough breaks, the girls never gave up,” said Neat. “We are proud of each girl and how far they have come this season.”
The Lady Indians carried that momentum into Tuesday night, traveling to Russell County to take on the Lady Lakers.
Adair County came home with another victory, winning a thrilling three-set match.
The wins continue a strong stretch for the Lady Indians as they work toward the postseason.
